What's the opportunity?
As our FX Specialist, you will be responsible for structuring and executing our FX operations and helping design strategies that optimize performance in the short, medium, and long term. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be a technical reference in FX, with strong ownership and proactive problem-solving. The role is based in Brazil, and experience with other Latin American markets is a strong plus.
What will I be doing?
Execute and continuously improve FX operations, covering onshore & offshore derivatives.
Run execution routines and controls for FX transactions, including FX D0, termo, and NDF for both outbound and inbound flows.
Support the definition and evolution of FX Spot and FX Hedge strategies for each business unit.
Monitor, mitigate, and report daily FX volatility.
Understand, analyze, and clearly explain PnL variations, identifying drivers such as FX moves, hedge performance, operational impacts.
Manage and analyze interest rate exposure, understanding impacts on cash flows, funding, and PnL.
Work with financial models to assess the effectiveness of hedging strategies for transactional exposures.
Partner with reserve pilots to ensure liquidity in FX operations.
Act as a key point of contact for SOX audits related to FX processes.
Work closely with product, regulatory, and compliance teams to validate and implement new flows.
Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in FX and interest rate processes.
What skills do I need?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of FX regulations, derivatives, and market practices.
Experience in eFX or payment facilitators.
Experience in the fintech or payments industry is required.
Solid technical expertise in options, USD instruments, NDF, futures, and swaps.
Knowledge of interest rate products and risk management (e.g., CDI, SOFR, swaps, futures, bonds).
Advanced skills in Excel, Python, and BI tools for large-scale data management.
Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
Experience in Latin American FX and rates markets beyond Brazil is a plus.
Proactive attitude, with strong ownership and autonomy.
Acts as a technical reference and specialist in FX and rates topics.
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple teams.
Curious, hands-on, and constantly looking to improve processes and results.
