About the Role

MyFundedFutures is seeking a Financial Reporter (Futures Market Reporter) to produce timely, high-quality news and analysis for a specialized media platform focused on the global futures markets.

The platform will provide actionable insights on commodities, indices, FX, and interest rate futures for an audience of active traders and market participants.

This is a temporary, project-based position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a launch-phase media product targeting a highly engaged niche, with possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor US and global futures markets, economic releases, and breaking market-moving events
Produce concise market updates (200–400 words) and in-depth analytical pieces (800–1,500 words)
Translate complex market movements and data into clear, actionable insights for a trading audience.
Interpret reports such as CFTC Commitments of Traders, daily settlements, and open interest data.
Ensure all content meets high editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, and compliance.
Deliver content promptly, often under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Must have: Proven track record in financial writing, with published work samples
Demonstrated expertise in futures markets is a plus.
Ability to work independently, quickly, and accurately in a fast-moving news environment
Strong command of clear, concise, and professional financial language
Familiarity with economic calendars, exchange data, and market data tools (TradingView, Bloomberg, ICE, CME, etc.)
Basic knowledge of technical analysis and market structure.
