About the Role

The Fundraising Project Coordinator leads the production and optimization of supporter engagement experiences, content, and tools that increase donor conversion and deepen long-term relationships. This role supports internal teams with engagement resources and coordinates department wide efforts to move volunteers, partner employees, and community supporters toward repeat and increased giving.

The Project Coordinator acts as a connector between Marketing, Fundraising, and Volunteer Engagement teams — ensuring that every supporter touchpoint is aligned, compelling, and conversion-oriented.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, international development, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in donor engagement, supporter journeys, marketing production, or fundraising enablement roles
  • Demonstrated success in improving customer/supporter conversion outcomes
  • Strong project management skills with ability to organize complex workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

What You Will Own

40% Supporter Conversion Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and deploy conversion strategies that drive first-time giving and repeat support from volunteers and partner audiences
  • Build engagement journeys across onsite and digital channels with clear calls to action and personalized experiences
  • Partner with Marketing on messaging, targeting, and campaign optimization to amplify conversion outcomes
  • Segment and analyze volunteer audiences to inform targeted engagement initiatives
  • Establish and report on KPIs tied to supporter movement through the engagement pipeline

Key Success Indicators

  • % new donor conversion from volunteer audiences
  • Email opt-in and repeat engagement growth

20% Production of Engagement Experiences & Resources

  • Lead the production and coordination of donor-facing engagement programming (immersive events, showcase opportunities, activation activities)
  • Build and maintain a library of enablement resources (one-pagers, stewardship pieces, event scripts)
  • Ensure all materials reflect consistent messaging, brand alignment, and donor-centered language
  • Serve as a flexible facilitator for meal packaging events across regions, providing on-site leadership and support to deliver high-quality volunteer and donor experiences when additional capacity is needed.

  • Develop training resources that support onboarding of all Donor Engagement positions
  • Train Meal Packaging Event Facilitators on donor engagement best practices
  • Improve consistency in event execution and delivering conversion opportunities at volunteer engagement events
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Program teams to present compelling outcomes and impact narratives

20% Donor Engagement Project Management & Team Collaboration

  • Lead Donor Engagement project planning, task management, and team-wide coordination
  • Establish and maintain planning rhythms, calendars, and workflows tied to major engagement priorities
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional communication and alignment meetings in support of specific activations or events
  • Support culture-building practices that foster internal collaboration and shared accountability
