Role Overview
We are looking for a Fullstack Senior Engineering Manager to provide strategic and technical leadership across multiple teams. This role focuses on scaling systems, developing leaders, and shaping long-term engineering strategy. You will play a key role in aligning technical execution with business goals in a growing startup.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational & Technical Leadership
- Define engineering standards, architectural principles, and best practices.
- Guide system design decisions across frontend and backend platforms.
- Ensure alignment and consistency across teams.
Leadership Development
- Mentor Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders.
- Build strong feedback, performance, and growth frameworks.
- Develop future leaders within the organization.
Strategic Execution
- Partner with Product and company leadership to align technical and business priorities.
- Lead delivery across complex, multi-stream initiatives.
- Navigate ambiguity and guide teams through evolving requirements.
Scaling & Innovation
- Help scale engineering processes and technical foundations.
- Evaluate new technologies and drive adoption when valuable.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager.
- Strong full-stack technical background, including: React, Next.js, TypeScript + Golang and/or Python
- Strong system design and architectural expertise.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Native or fluent English.
- Spanish is a plus.
- Experience working in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or financial platforms is a plus.
