Fullstack Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, Angular, and TypeScript to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable applications that deliver high-quality user experiences while ensuring robust backend systems.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This is a hands-on senior position where you will influence architectural decisions, mentor team members, and ensure best practices are followed across the stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails.

• Build responsive, dynamic, and maintainable front-end applications with Angular and TypeScript.

• Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.

• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of both frontend and backend systems.

• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows.

• Work in cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integration between frontend, backend, and external systems.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience as a Fullstack Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails for backend development.

• Advanced knowledge of Angular and TypeScript for frontend development.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, system integrations, and microservice-oriented design.

• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices (RSpec, Jasmine, Jest, or similar).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical excellence and delivery speed.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

• Experience working with Agile development processes (Scrum or Kanban).

Location: Can work from anywhere within Mexico (working from the office will be required time to time)
