Fullstack Developer (m/f/d)

What we are looking for:

To support us in our mission, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Fullstack Developer to join our Web Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality web features across our platform — from visually polished front-end components to robust, scalable back-end services built with Java (Tomcat/JSP) and Rust (Axum and/or Actix). You should bring a strong eye for design and usability, as well as deep technical expertise in crafting reliable APIs, integrating with databases, and optimizing back-end systems. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and engineers to deliver seamless, high-performing experiences that meet both user needs and business goals. • Design, develop, and maintain feature-rich, visually polished web pages and scalable back-end services
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX concepts into responsive, pixel-perfect front-end code
• Build reusable UI components using frameworks like Vue (including NuxtJS) or React (including NextJS)
• Develop and maintain backend logic in Java (Tomcat/JSP) and Rust (Axum and/or Actix), ensuring performance and scalability
• Create and integrate secure, scalable REST APIs
• Maintain and optimize SQL database schemas and queries (PostgreSQL or similar)
• Implement secure form handling and integrate with CMS platforms
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance across both frontend and backend
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features and resolve complex issues

Basic Qualifications:

• Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Easy to work with
• Sense of urgency
• Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer building production-grade web applications
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including Vue/NuxtJS, React/NextJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Demonstrated design sensibility and a good eye for layout, color, and graphics
• Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in backend development using Java (Tomcat/JSP) and/or Rust (Axum and/or Actix), or strong willingness to learn Rust if not already proficient
• Experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and attention to detail

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in the remote access, SaaS, or related software industry
• Prior experience at a high-growth technology company
• Familiarity with CMS integration workflows and scalable web architectures
• Ability to balance frontend design concerns with backend performance and scalability
