Fullstack Developer

Configura works with parametric configuration. We develop rules-based software to draw spaces in 2D and 3D for leading companies within the commercial furniture, kitchen and material handling industries. In the background, prices and configurations are automatically calculated. We are a global company with customers in 10 countries and users in more than 100. You will be working in a team that focuses on the development, continuous improvements and maintenance of existing and new web/cloud applications. You'll have the chance to contribute to front-end development and backend implementation for products spanning data analytics, online collaboration platforms, product configuration, and more. An important part of the products is integration with our market-leading Space Design Software (Windows based).

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications with a strong focus on usability, performance, reliability and scalability.

• Collaborate in an agile team with developers, product owners, product managers, QAs, and UX designers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Ensure seamless cross-product integration by working closely with other teams.

• Build client-facing applications that power the entire product lifecycle – from build and release to user access, licensing and governance.

• Plays a key role in the backbone and integration that keeps our systems connected across different products.

• Write, maintain, and execute unit tests to ensure code quality.

• Manage and maintain our CI/CD pipeline for smooth releases.

• Research, analyze, and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.

Requirements

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR 

• Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science or equivalent, with extensive relevant work experience.

• Experienced in developing modular, service-oriented architecture.

• At least 3 years' experience as a full-stack web developer or similar role.

• Has good software development experience based on an extensive variety of problems faced in different situations.

• Technical stack:

  • JavaScript libraries/ frameworks

  • Backend: Node.js, preferably NestJS

  • Frontend: preferably React or Angular

  • Typed programming languages, preferably Typescript or Rust

  • Cloud-first DevOps, preferably AWS

  • Relational Databases

• Good writing and verbal English communication skills
