Pittsworth Veterinary Surgery has been proudly caring for pets and livestock across Pittsworth and surrounding areas for over 20 years. We are excited to soon be moving into our brand-new, purpose-built hospital — designed to provide the very best facilities for our team, our patients, and our clients.

With a caseload of approximately 70% small animals and 30% large animals, you’ll enjoy the variety of rural mixed practice in a collaborative and friendly environment.

About the Clinic

At Pittsworth Veterinary Surgery, we combine compassionate care with practical, real-world solutions for both pets and livestock. Our new hospital will be fully equipped with:

• Digital X-ray and digital dental X-ray
• Ultrasound
• Purpose-built consult rooms and surgical theatre
• Company vehicles for farm visits

You’ll be joining a team of experienced veterinarians and highly skilled nurses, many of whom have been with us for years. We value teamwork, mentorship, and supporting one another to deliver the best outcomes for our patients and clients.

In this role, you will:

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care across small and large animals.
• Manage your own caseload with support from a collaborative veterinary team.
• Participate in mentoring and knowledge sharing within the clinic as appropriate.
• Work closely with nursing and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

About You

• Ideally 2+ years in mixed animal general practice (all experience levels considered).
• Bachelor or Doctor of Veterinary Science, registered with the QLD Veterinary Practitioners Board.
• You’re passionate about delivering exceptional veterinary care and enjoy working as part of a supportive, team-oriented clinic.
