A partner organization is seeking a Full Time Retail Supervisor in Arvin, CA.

The Retail Supervisor is a member of the Store Leadership Team and is responsible for providing leadership and direction to associate-level team members. This role helps maintain a positive work environment and models professional standards while exemplifying the organization’s values.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day work of associate-level staff.
- Provide direction, guidance, training, and coaching to team members to ensure efficient operations and proper in-store procedures that support the overall customer experience.
- Supervise the assigned department, contributing to store profitability through receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing activities.
- Build and maintain store culture through teamwork, coaching, and professional conduct.
- Collaborate with store leadership regarding policies, procedures, and standards for assigned areas.
- Uphold company standards; ensure employees follow procedures and quality expectations and work to resolve issues as needed.
Requirements
- No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in a similar role or specialization.
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems, other in-store computerized systems, and telephone operation.
- Effective communication skills to exchange information with leadership, associates, and customers.
- Ability to work in an active environment requiring constant movement and frequent physical activity, including adjusting/moving items up to 40 lbs.
- May use specialized equipment and may be exposed to dust and noise.
- Ability to communicate clearly with others.
- Flexible availability to work a variable retail schedule that may shift seasonally or based on business needs in accordance with all applicable laws.
