Develop full-stack web applications using Java and modern frameworks while participating in Agile methodologies and enhancing software quality through testing and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot on the backend and Angular (TypeScript) or ReactJS on the frontend.
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs under guidance from senior team members.
- Participate in code reviews, bug fixing, and feature development.
- Write unit tests and basic integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Work with AWS/Azure cloud services and Docker in development and deployment environments.
- Collaborate with team members in Agile/Scrum activities (daily stand-up, planning, demo, retrospective).
- Continuously learn project technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
General requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Intermediate English communication (able to work with international clients with support).
- Likely having 3+ years of experience (flexible depending on how fast your learning and technical developing capabilities are)
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with guidance.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Technical requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, building RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Angular (TypeScript) or ReactJS
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, clean code, and common design principles
- Experience working with SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Understanding SPA concepts such as routing and REST integration
- Experience writing unit tests using JUnit, Mockito; basic API testing with Postman
- Basic experience with Docker (build/run containers)
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub)
- Awareness of CI/CD concepts and modern software delivery practices
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to Spring Cloud or microservices-based systems
- Basic experience with AWS services (S3, ECS, SQS)
- Familiarity with Node.js (TypeScript)
- Experience with database migration or background jobs (Flyway, Spring Batch)
- Interest in improving testing skills (integration testing, contract testing)
