Requirements

Your Skills

• 4+ years as a Ruby on Rails software engineer (Semi Sr/Sr level).
  
• Solid knowledge of at least one modern JavaScript Framework, specifically Ember.js or React.js.
• Designed and implemented large, scalable web applications and have an appreciation for clean, elegant, and simple code.
• Experience taking Rails apps from idea to shipped to production.
• Understands the value and nuances of Test Driven Development.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• English proficiency.

How You’ll Stand Out

• In-depth understanding of web application security and best practices.
• Working knowledge of managing MySQL/Postgres/Redis/NGINX.
• Experience with Linux, preferably CentOS/RHEL.
• Infrastructure management via Chef.

The Screening Process

1. Verification by the BEON team.
2. 90-minute technical interview: 45-minute coding exercise followed by a 45-minute architecture exercise.
3. 30-minute cultural interview with SVP of engineering / Dr of Engineering.

Total expected timeframe = 3-5 days.
