  • JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)
  • LOCATION: Remote - United States only (TimeZone: EST | Full day overlap)
  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $55 – $90/hr
  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long term

THE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a full-stack developer.

2. Proficient in React and Java technologies, with a strong track record of delivering high-
quality applications.

3. Experience with Google Cloud, Postgres, Github, and Jenkins is highly desirable.

4. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best
practices.

5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex
issues efficiently.

6. Ability to work independently and lead a team, providing guidance and mentorship.
7. Previous experience working for a retail company is a plus.

8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a
remote team environment.

 

What you’ll be working on

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Lead Developer to join their dynamic team.

 

As a lead developer, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of innovative software solutions primarily using React and Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development and possess a deep understanding of modern web development practices.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of software solutions using React and Java technologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery.

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient code architectures, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

  • Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance and support to ensure the growth and development of the team.

  • Work independently, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.

  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving skills and sharing knowledge with the team.
