Rotunda is seeking an experienced Full Stack JavaScript Developer to help create a new generation of software tools for non-profits. Our flagship products are actively used by over 3,500 non-profits and one million volunteers. The person who fills this position will contribute to these robust, well-established products while also architecting brand new tools to help non-profits make the world a better place. In addition to excellent technical skills, this position requires attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, flexible, and ego-free environment.
Our proprietary, modularized frontend framework is built using open source tools developed at Rotunda in conjunction with James Halliday (a.k.a @substack), and our sophisticated backend infrastructure is built with technologies that include Node.js, Express, MySQL, and AWS Lambda, and an isomorphic JavaScript domain layer. The individual who fills this position will be able to learn, leverage, and curate these unique and powerful tools.
