Full stack Engineer (Remote - Latam)

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge software solutions in a fully remote environment, collaborating with a talented, cross-functional team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while contributing to architectural decisions and system-level improvements. The position emphasizes both hands-on coding and strategic thinking, requiring an ability to balance new feature development with best practices in software architecture. You will participate in code reviews, create technical documentation, and ensure software reliability through unit and integration testing. Continuous learning, innovation, and proactive problem-solving are key aspects of this role. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with global teams.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend and frontend software applications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure code follows architectural guidelines and best practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system-level decisions to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and team consistency.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability of software solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software components.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously bring innovation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience using Python as the primary backend language.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Ember.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Knowledge of NodeJS is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining attention to detail and embracing changes.
• Fluent in English for effective global communication.
