Senior Full Stack Engineer - Decentralized Finance Security

Compensation: $144K - $164K

Location: United States (Remote or Brooklyn, NYC Office)

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team, which is building the first automated, on-chain economic security system for leading crypto protocols. Our platform helps optimize risk management and capital efficiency while safeguarding user funds for protocols managing billions of dollars in assets.

You will report directly to the Oracle Team Lead and play a critical role in developing data-driven dashboards and tools to support risk analysis. You will collaborate closely with research and protocol teams to deliver high-quality frontend and backend components that power crucial protocol security insights.

This role requires a high degree of ownership and technical expertise across the full stack.

• Project Ownership: Take full ownership of projects: break down high-level goals into actionable tasks, propose technical approaches, and drive execution end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Infrastructure: Build and maintain oracle infrastructure that supports the various data feeds deployed across many blockchains.
• Collaboration & Insight: Partner with research and protocol teams to deeply understand Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols and present insights via intuitive, data-rich interfaces.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality and maintainability through rigorous testing, comprehensive documentation, and proactive code reviews.
• Innovation: Take initiative in identifying product opportunities and technical improvements across the platform, contributing to the continuous innovation of our platform.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outputs and platform reliability.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with modern technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, React).
• Independence: Proven ability to independently manage projects and deliver production-grade features with minimal supervision in a dynamic, high-ownership environment.
• Programming Languages: Experience with multiple backend/blockchain-focused languages such as Python, Go, Solidity, and Rust.
• Mindset: Passion for high-quality engineering, building tools that solve real user problems, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Domain Interest: Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for DeFi and blockchain technology.
• Location: Based in the United States with the ability to work remotely or from our Brooklyn office in NYC.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Services: Experience designing, developing, and operating cloud-native services (AWS/GCP).
• Frontend Expertise: Strong foundation in frontend engineering best practices, including accessibility, performance, and testing.
• DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
