About the role
As a Full Stack Engineer at Sevv, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling core product experiences across the platform.
Note: This is a fully remote, temporary contract role for 3 months with a potential extension in the future.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end product features across frontend and backend systems
- Build real-time, interactive experiences including virtual rooms, avatars, live presence, and synchronized user state
- Translate product requirements and PRDs into scalable, production-ready technical solutions
- Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Build scalable backend services using Node.js and Express
- Implement real-time communication using WebSockets and Colyseus
- Integrate AI capabilities using LLMs such as OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic Claude, Meta, Llama, and Mistral
- Build intelligent workflows, assistants, and in-product automation
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and user/session management
- Optimize platform performance for high-concurrency and low-latency use cases
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams
What we are looking for
We are looking for a highly capable Full Stack Engineer with
5+ years of professional experience in modern web development.You bring:
- Strong foundation in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Hands-on experience with modern open-source frameworks: React, Next.js/Vite, Node.js, Express, WebSockets, Colyseus
- Experience working with AI and LLM tooling such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Meta Llama, Mistral, and HuggingFace Transformers
- Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Proven experience developing real-time, low-latency web applications
- Strong understanding of scalable system design and performance optimization
- Ability to take ownership from idea → implementation → production
Nice to have
- Frontend performance optimization using open-source tooling
- Backend architecture using open-source scalable systems
- Real-time media pipelines for video, audio, and screen sharing
- Experience in game development, multiplayer systems, or interactive simulations
- Experience with real-time movement, rendering loops, or virtual environments
- Experience with video and audio streaming technologies
