About the Role

As a full-stack developer, you will build both the backend and frontend for new services, as well as develop the tools, frameworks, and environments that enable future full-stack engineers to excel. You will collaborate closely with the product team to ensure your service design is precisely aligned with our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

  • Creating software design and architecture proposals
  • Planning, coordinating, and estimating the work and time required to deliver new features
  • Developing, deploying, and monitoring internal and customer-facing micro-services from code to Kubernetes
  • Implementing modern analytic and monitoring tools
  • Configuring CI to allow correct and rapid iteration on code

About You

  • 3+ years of experience working a full-stack role
  • Experience as a tech lead or mentor
  • 2+ years working with Go, typed Javascript (TypeScript or Flow), and React
  • Experience writing, building, and deploying your own Docker images
  • Experience working with analytic and monitoring tools, such as Sentry, DataDog, Mixpanel, New Relic, etc
  • Professional experience with Kubernetes

  • Contributor to open source projects
  • Experience in the Automotive industry or a love of cars
  • Prior work in small, agile teams

  • Treat data security and privacy as one of your primary job responsibilities
  • Report Security Incidents you discover as bugs
  • Get approval from the Security Team before adding new 3rd party software to our codebase
  • Explicitly consider security implications when doing PR reviews
