Full-Stack Developer (REF4999W)

The Telekom Distribution Partner Portal (T-VPP) is the central entry point for both internal and external sales of Deutsche Telekom. Our distribution partners market all fixed-line and mobile products of Deutsche Telekom using the T-VPP system cluster, featuring a unified, dialog-driven web interface. It is also possible to connect proprietary frontends via the web service-based B2B interface.

Our team is looking for a motivated and skilled Full Stack Developer to join us in building robust, enterprise-level applications. You’ll be working with modern and legacy technologies across the stack, contributing to both backend and frontend development, and participating actively in Agile processes.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend features
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code (including unit tests)
• Collaborate with the team in all Agile ceremonies (daily standups, planning, refinement, poker, reviews, retros)
• Actively discuss and challenge business and technical requirements
• Communicate directly with Product Owner, Solution Architect and Business Analyst to clarify requirements

• Backend: Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, SOAP, REST
• New B2B-Monitoring: Spring Boot (Rest, Security, Data, Batch), ELK, Angular, Typescript
• Frontend: JSF/PrimeFaces, React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• DevOps & Infrastructure: AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Oracle SQL
• Tools & Processes: Git, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, Gradle, NPM

Must-Have Skills:

• Languages & Frameworks:
  • 1–3 years of experience with Java, JavaScript, JSF, HTML5, CSS3
  • Solid experience with Spring Boot and strong understanding of Spring IoC (lifecycle, scopes, AOP, bean post-processing)
• APIs & Integration:
  • Experience with SOAP and REST APIs
• DevOps & Infrastructure:
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Tools & Practices:
  • Experience with Git and GitLab pipelines
  • Proficient in writing unit tests (simple, integration, automated E2E)
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven, Gradle, and NPM
  • Basic scripting in Unix shell (e.g., Bash)
• Security:
  • Understanding of authentication flows (OpenID, SAML, Web Session Cookies)
  • Knowledge of SSL, WSS4J and general security principles
• Soft Skills:
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in technical English (written and spoken)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with J2EE containers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss)
• React.js, AngularJS or other modern UI frameworks
• AWS Cloud experience
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka (JMS)
• Knowledge of other languages like Kotlin, Groovy, or Python
• Understanding of CI/CD practices
• Experience with testing tools (SOAP UI, Postman, Selenium, JMeter)
• Experience with project tools like JIRA and Confluence
