Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (Java/Spring Boot and Angular) to support a federal client that is about 8 months in a multi-year contract. This role involves designing and building custom software and database solutions for both legacy and modern systems, collaborating with a product team, and contributing to planning, development, testing, and release activities.
The ideal candidate brings full-stack expertise, solution-oriented, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
This is a direct hire/salaried position and hybrid 1 to 2 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities
Build and deliver tailored software solutions and database applications that support both legacy platforms and modern systems.
Contribute to all phases of the development process, including sprint planning, releases, testing, demos, and retros.
Write clean, efficient, and sustainable code using current development standards and tools.
Design and implement web services and microservice architectures, connecting backend functionality with dynamic user interfaces.
Convert design mockups into intuitive, fully functional interfaces that seamlessly integrate with backend systems.
Diagnose and resolve advanced technical challenges related to system performance, architecture, and security.
Qualifications
MUST BE CLEARABLE as this is role with support a Federal Project. Highly preferred those who either currently hold a Public Trust or higher clearance OR previously held one.
Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline or comparable hands-on experience.
Minimally 6 years of experience application designing, developing, and implementing software solutions.
Proven technical proficiency in: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS
Backend and frontend development using modern frameworks and microservices architecture.
Cloud-based application development and deployment.
Building and integrating RESTful services.
Version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented and service-oriented design principles.
