Full Stack Developer (Node.js, React.js)

Position: Full Stack Developer (Node.js, React.js)

Location: Erie, PA (Onsite)

Duration: Full Time

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using React.js (frontend) and Node.js / Express.js (backend).

·       Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

·       Integrate front-end components with back-end services and third-party APIs.

·       Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

·       Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage application hosting on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB).

·       Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product teams to translate requirements into technical deliverables.

·       Apply best practices in code quality, testing (Jest / Mocha), and documentation.

·       Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and reliability issues using CloudWatch / AWS X-Ray / Logs.

·       Ensure application security using IAM roles, Secrets Manager, Cognito, and AWS best practices.

·       Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and peer collaboration sessions.

Required Skills & Experience:

Frontend:

·       Strong proficiency in React.js, Hooks, Context API, and Redux.

·       Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Responsive Design.

·       Knowledge of modern UI frameworks (Material UI / Tailwind / Ant Design).

Backend:

·       Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, and REST API development.

·       Familiarity with asynchronous programming, middleware, and error handling patterns.

·       Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).

AWS Cloud:

·       Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB, CloudFormation.

·       Experience with serverless application development and AWS SDK.

·       Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

·       Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform or AWS CDK) is a plus.

Other Skills:

·       Version control using Git / GitHub / GitLab.

·       Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.

·       Understanding of containerization (Docker) and microservices.

·       Exposure to Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
