FTC - Product Marketing Manager

TLDR

Support the creation of high-quality product marketing collateral and enablement materials while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

📈 Who We Are:

We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair.

Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity.

tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that’s long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today’s electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators.

We’ve built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale.

In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership.

We’re scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide.

Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems.

At tem, we’re not just building another energy company, we’re rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception.

We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager on a short-term contract (up to 2 months) to support the creation of high-quality product marketing collateral and enablement materials for tem.

🚀 Responsibilities

Collateral & Enablement

  • Produce product marketing collateral (one-pagers, battle cards, product decks, email copy, feature explainers) to a high standard of quality and accuracy.

  • Own the version control and maintenance of assigned materials so they stay current as the product evolves.

  • Support the production of sales enablement assets that help commercial teams have better conversations with brokers and buyers.

  • Organise and maintain the product marketing asset hub so materials are easy to find and use.

    Messaging & Positioning Support

  • Work with the Product Marketing Lead to translate positioning and messaging frameworks into finished collateral.

  • Apply brand voice and tem's communication principles consistently across all materials.

  • Flag inconsistencies or gaps in messaging when you spot them.

  • Build an understanding of our customers, their needs and pain points, the competitive landscape, and tem's unique value, and use that understanding to inform how you write and position our products.

  • Test and iterate on messaging based on customer feedback, commercial team input, and market signals, and feed learnings back into future collateral.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work with the Product team to understand features and translate technical detail into clear customer language.

  • Collaborate with the Content team to ensure alignment between product messaging and published content.

  • Support launches by producing the assets and copy required within agreed timelines.

🎯 Success Measures

This role is succeeding when:

  • Collateral is produced on time, to brief, and to a high standard of quality.

  • Commercial teams actively use the materials you produce.

  • Asset library is up to date and easy to navigate.

  • Feedback from the Product Marketing Lead and commercial stakeholders is consistently positive.

  • You are growing your understanding of tem's product, market, and customers sprint on sprint.

  • Quality shows up in the collateral. Collateral shows up in pipeline.

🎯 Requirements

Must haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in a product marketing, content, or marketing generalist role.

  • Strong writing ability: clear, accurate, and adaptable to different formats and audiences.

  • Organised and reliable: you deliver what you commit to, on time.

  • Comfortable working with product detail and translating it into plain language.

  • Uses AI tools to accelerate and improve your work.

  • Fast learner who applies feedback quickly and asks good questions.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sprint-based environment.

Bonus points

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or energy tech.

  • Exposure to ICP development, messaging frameworks, and positioning work.

  • Familiarity with broker or intermediary channel models.

📄 Contract Details

  • Fixed-term contract, up to 2 months maximum.

  • Remote-first working.

  • A note on AI usage

  • We're an AI-first company. We expect candidates to use AI tools. But we want to see judgement, not just output.

Use AI if it helps. But:

  • Be honest: Show us what AI generated and what you created or edited.

  • Show judgement: We want to see where you override AI and why.

  • Be practical: What tools? What prompts? What actually worked vs. in theory?

  • Maintain quality: AI-accelerated ≠ AI-written. Your thinking is what we're hiring.

  • If you don't use AI, tell us why. That's a legitimate choice if you have reasoning behind it.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you’re excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.

tem provides AI-driven transaction infrastructure that aims to transform the global energy market by increasing transparency and fairness in electricity transactions. Tailored for businesses that seek efficient and equitable energy solutions, tem cuts through the traditional complexities and inefficiencies that have long benefited legacy operators.
