Frontend Engineer (React)
Location: Barcelona, Spain — Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality features and components using React.
Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Collaborate closely with the Lead Frontend Engineer, backend engineers, designers, and product partners.
Participate in code reviews and help define frontend best practices.
Contribute to the full frontend development lifecycle, from technical design through deployment.
Ensure accessibility, performance, and reliability across the UI.

5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
Expert knowledge of modern ReactJS, including React Hooks and React 18 features.
Strong command of HTML best practices, including semantic markup and accessibility.
Deep expertise in CSS, including vanilla CSS and scalable CSS methodologies.
Proficiency with modern tooling: Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn.
Strong experience using Git and GitHub-based workflows.
Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g., styled-components, Emotion).
Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems.
Familiarity with Storybook for component-driven documentation.
Knowledge of or experience with microfrontend architectures.
AI Tooling Proficiency: Use AI tools to optimize workflows (e.g., code generation, analysis, testing). Ability to propose effective AI use cases for improving development efficiency.
Experience optimizing frontend performance for large-scale applications.
Familiarity with accessibility automation tools or testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, RTL, Cypress).
Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Contributions to open-source libraries or UI tooling.
This role follows a hybrid model based in Barcelona, Spain, with 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote.
