LastPass is looking for a FrontEnd Engineer:
In this role you will work on a web-application based Desktop App running in Electron (Windows and MacOS), the application supporting our Business and also End Users. In the Desktop app they can manage passwords and secrets, using a native OS specific Quick Fill component can autofill desktop applications with credentials.

Who will you work with?
- You will work closely with the agile teams responsible for the development and maintenance of web-app based Electron Desktop application and its native Quick Fill component.
- You will collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers and shape the future of the product by defining an adequate strategy to verify the software. You are expected to enable the scrum team to create quality software.
- You will also work with the support team, assessing and evaluating incoming issues and their severity. Help the team fix the customer issues with speed and quality.
What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
- Participate in requirement analysis, high level planning and estimation. Collaborate with product owners and user experience designers to deliver features while meeting team deadlines.
- Collaborate on analysis and resolution of non-functional requirements, such as security, usability, performance, etc.
- Develop, test and maintain the solutions in the domain of your team
- Cooperate with other teams working on the product
- Create and maintain internal technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews
- Participate in community driven decision making. Maintain our coding- and design guidelines, and influence the technical roadmap.
- Work complying with our processes
- Work with a strong team of enthusiastic and talented experts
- Take part in forming the product, designing, and shipping new features that solve our customers’ needs
- Work in a cross-functional, agile team, taking ownership of features
- Work on a highly successful, customer-facing application where your work can help millions of users each day
What does it take to work at LastPass?
- Experience with ES6+ JavaScript
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (preferably React, but Vue.js or AngularJS can also fit)
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience in HTML and CSS
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- BSC or higher or equivalent practical experience
- Great team player
- Creates and knowns best practices
- Efficiently participates in the completion of complex tasks
- Consistently sees the overall big picture situation, besides focusing on the details and specific tasks
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Ability to transfer knowledge effectively
It's great, but not required:
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux with Redux Saga/Vuex)
- Any experience with PHP and/or C# and/or .NET Core /or SWIFT
- Experience with Electron
