Frontend Engineer

·       Be involved and participate in the design and development of the frontend of our products.

·       Focus on the latest best practises and technologies for frontend development.

·       Be able to work with legacy frontend code and internal libraries; both for maintenance and new features.

·       Collaborate with backend engineers to provide internal artifacts, consumed by the development team, as intermediate products.

·       Define and communicate technical and design requirements for the frontend of our products.

·       Provide training, help and support to other team members.

·       Be able to work with the most modern frontend frameworks.

·       Develop tests for the frontend code of our products, or end to end automated tests, as the latest best practises dictate.

·       Favor code reviews according to the decided development principles by the team.

·       Focus on quality on the frontend development, using the latest technologies.

·       Being able to support the operations around building and packaging the frontend artifacts

·       Being able to work with open source libraries and being knowledgeable about the licensing scheme of using and re-distributing open source artifacts

·       Learn about new frontend and infrastructure technologies.

·       This position reports directly to the VP Engineering and doesn’t have staff management responsibilities.
