Frontend Developer - Senior (Remote)

Position Overview

The Front-End Developer is responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages of the Agiloft application, among other duties. The Frontend developer works in teams alongside Backend Developers and User Experience Designers to ensure all elements of the user interface creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

The Senior Front-End Developer is technically proficient and has a keen eye for design and UI/UX. The Senior Front-End Developer translates customer needs and user expectations into interactive web apps, has demonstrated experience with the optimization of  web applications in terms of technology and in delivering the best user experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code. 
  • Build cross-browser solutions optimized for a wide range of devices. 
  • Identify UI problems and bugs and devise elegant solutions. 
  • Make strategic technical decisions related to new products and functionalities. 
  • Help maintain code quality. 
  • Onboard and mentor new team members 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of experience in working on large projects/Enterprise applications including, but not limited to version control tools, automated software testing, automating software build tools 
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern frontend development frameworks 
  • Knowledgeable of UI development concepts like Responsive Design, SPA, Modular Design 
  • Working knowledge of Java 
  • Experience with 
  • MEAN stack 
  • Struts 2, JSP 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly 
  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, vue.js, REACT, angular.js, jQuery. 
  • Excellent knowledge of key graphical user interface design principles.
