Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive web applications using Angular (v8+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, backend developers, and business analysts to translate requirements into high-quality frontend solutions.
- Implement reusable UI components, follow best practices, and ensure adherence to PNC’s secure coding and UX standards.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend services.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and continuous improvement activities.
- Optimize performance and ensure web applications meet accessibility and cross-browser compatibility standards.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in Angular (version 8 or higher) and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, RxJS, and state management libraries (e.g., NgRx).
- Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular Material or Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG/ARIA).
- Exposure to financial domain applications or large enterprise systems.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerized deployments.
