What you’ll bring to the table: (Responsibilities)  

• Build user-facing features for high-visibility web platforms using modern front-end frameworks and technologies.

Do you have the right mix of ingredients: (Requirements)  

• 3+ years of experience developing responsive single-page web applications with modern technologies.
• Preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or completion of a coding bootcamp.
• Proficiency with React for building dynamic user interfaces.
• Expertise in TypeScript for type-safe JavaScript development.
• Skill in ES6 and modern JavaScript for advanced scripting.
• Experience with SASS for scalable and maintainable styling.
• Competence in integrating REST APIs into web applications.
• Ability to write and test code using unit testing tools (e.g., Vitest, Jest, Testing Library).
• Understanding of responsive design principles for cross-device compatibility.
• Knowledge of user experience best practices for web and mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with web security practices to safeguard applications.
• Experience collaborating in agile teams to deliver features efficiently.
• Background in maintaining reusable component libraries (e.g., using Storybook).

• This is a full-time, exempt position and the base compensation for this opening in Chicago is expected to be $100,000-$140,000 annualized, depending on level, candidate experience, skills, and other factors; this position will be eligible for an annual bonus program with a target of 7.5-10% base annualized salary, for a total compensation of $107,500-$154,000.
