The impact of the role:

The Front-End Developer will be responsible for creating engaging, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to translate design concepts into functional, high-quality web applications.

On a given day, a Front-End Developer will:

• Convert design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
• Build and maintain reusable components and front-end libraries to ensure consistency and scalability. 
• Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. 
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end components with back-end services. 
• Ensure applications meet accessibility standards and adapt seamlessly across devices. 
• Maintain high standards of code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews. 
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in front-end development.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field  

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development. 

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+). 

• Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. 

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. 

• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). 

• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. 

Amazing if you have:

• Experience with TypeScript. 

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 

• Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress. 

• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG). 

• Experience with design systems and tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
