About this role
The Jotelulu Product team is looking for a Frontend Developer to join our engineering team.
You will support our growing engineering organization and help scale our codebase from thousands to millions of users.
You will join a full-stack development team that builds self-service Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) products at a cloud provider scale.
Jotelulu is currently scaling its catalog of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, and we need experienced frontend developers to help us grow our platform and achieve our goals.
You’ll be part of a fun, fast-paced, collaborative, and agile team.
This is a fully remote role based in Spain. While we have offices in Madrid (Plaza España) and welcome everyone to join us, our software engineering team is distributed across multiple cities, making Jotelulu a remote-friendly company.
You will
Implement the new frontend for the SaaS platform using a modern tech stack (React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind, Shadcn), designed to address the company’s future challenges.
Develop and maintain scalable, accessible, and high-performance SaaS user interfaces, aligning technical efforts with Jotelulu’s business goals.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Code Development & Quality
- Develop solutions that ensure the product meets Jotelulu’s standards for scalability, reliability, availability, usability, performance, and quality.
- Implement a flexible and scalable architecture to support product growth.
- Implement and promote design patterns and frontend development best practices.
- Apply coding standards, code reviews, and agile methodologies effectively.
- Use generative AI tools to support code generation.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to design solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with different squads and departments to address complex challenges and ensure technological consistency across the platform.
