Rolo Studios is seeking a freelance Web Developer/Designers to build and implement client projects. Ideal candidates must have at least 5 years of experience. In addition to interfacing with the Rolo Studios team, this candidate will work directly with clients, from concept to completion. Skill set should include project management, organization, client communication, thoughtful leadership and expertise in web development & interface design.

As we prepare for overflow from a key account, we are seeking a web developer with experience building on platforms like Squarespace or WIX. The client is a SAAS company that provides websites through their CMS for events. We are seeking someone to take on complete quick turn around projects. These websites should be able to be built in less than 40 hours. Typically they include 3-5 templated page designs, HTML, CSS and Javascript. Often times in these projects, you will be connecting with the companies API.

Projects pay can be up to $35USD/hr depending on experience, or projects can be flat rate between $1,500 and $3,000 USD. These projects will only come when our team overflows, but we expect that to happen 2-3 times a year as the business is seasonal, plus we have other projects that we could leverage you on if the relationship is good.

Interface with clients & our team on a daily basis
Design and implement client websites/template offerings from initial concept, site architecture, and user interface to finished deliverable
Code and implement websites on a Squarespace-like CMS from a layout through html/CSS to a custom theme, functions, and plugins
Design and implement new features, enhancements, and content of existing websites, within the CMS framework
Create and update re-usable code libraries to streamline development cycle
Support, extend and/or enhance existing code
Document technical and functional specifications
Write clean, well-documented code
Ensure that we meet 'go-live' deadlines for all sites
Maintain existing sites
Facilitate client CMS training, site documentation and maintenance
Provide technical consultancy services to project stakeholders
Other duties as required

At least 5 years of freelance experience in web development
Squarespace and WIX experience
HTML, CSS and Javascript
Advanced English reading and speaking skills (must be able to fully communicate about requirements without issue)
Spanish language skills a big plus (most of our team is bilingual English/Spanish) but not necessary
