Freelancer - Senior iOS Engineer

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer with minimum 7+ year of experience, who enjoys solving difficult problems. Our ideal candidate is someone who is not afraid of diving deep into computer science concepts to produce the best solution — and very much excited to play around with the latest technologies (think hackathons, but at work). We want someone who genuinely looks forward to Apple Developer Conferences, and uses the latest technologies and features for fun — because they want to — as soon as they are announced. Simply put, candidates should be excited about building iPhone and iPad apps, iWatch apps, and even TvOS apps.

Technical Qualifications:

• Familiarity with architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
• Good grasp of UIKit, CoreData, and NotificationCenter.
• Basic understanding of CoreFoundation, CoreLocation, CoreAnimation, and CoreGraphics.
• Knowledge of common design patterns.
• Understanding and application of S.O.L.I.D principles.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Proficiency in Swift programming, including the Swift Standard Library.
• Attention to detail for accurate design implementation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, development teams, and QA teams.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with source control systems like Git and dependency management.
• Understanding of Functional Reactive Programming is a must
• Knowledge of SwiftUI

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience working with Swift 
• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science (or related field)
• Ability to build code with an international team
• Efficient communicator
• Contribution to open source projects is a plus
