Inframation, the North American project finance market’s preeminent source for intelligence, seeks a freelance reporters to take on commissions covering Mexico.
The role is dedicated to making sure Inframation is first with off-diary scoops on P3 procurements and policy related to project finance, as well as investment activity among the country’s leading institutional investors.
Respondents should have a minimum of one year’s reporting experience as a financial journalist and bilingual. Knowledge of the infrastructure sector would be a plus, but it is not essential if the candidate can demonstrate solid news judgment and know how to cover financial markets and investment opportunities. Ideally, they should have a proven track record of breaking stories before the competition.
For the arrangement to work effectively you should be able to write breaking news stories on a regular basis about key infrastructure developments in Mexico. You should also be willing to attend industry conferences on behalf of Inframation. You will be expected to maintain regular contact with senior level bankers, fund managers, investors and public sector officials. Some travel may be required.
