Context :
Our client is a rapidly expanding global company in the sports and outdoor industry, with 75 years of history and a presence in over 45 countries. The organization is currently strengthening its direct‑to‑consumer retail strategy and has significantly increased the number of physical store openings worldwide in recent years. It continues to invest heavily in international retail development.
As part of its growth strategy, the company is preparing to launch several new brick‑and‑mortar stores across multiple cities in Mexico. This large‑scale retail rollout requires strong operational coordination, including construction oversight, logistical planning, and on‑site team supervision to ensure each store opens on time and meets brand standards.
How You Will Contribute :
- Project Planning & Scheduling - 15%
- Follow up meetings with the client & external partners
- Validation of the intervention dates
- Supervision and Task Coordination – 25%
- Prepare the action plan & identify the adequate profile to perform the actions
- Support & guiding the technicians during the IT interventions
- Give technical instructions to fulfill the operation
- Assure that all operations fulfill client expectations and different local regulatory requirements
- Liaison with different IT departments – 20%
- Establish communication with different stakeholders (L1/L2/L3 Support, External Solution Providers, Store Managers and Retail Project Manager) during preparation & execution of project
- Risk & Issue Management: 10%
- Ensuring all IT handover requirements are completed prior to project execution, guaranteeing that IT operations can be carried out smoothly and that the project is delivered on time
- Documentation & Reporting – 25%
- Report to the client and the different stakeholders on the action plan and
- Update the documentation
- Administration and Budgeting: 5%
- Collect Timesheet from all the involved technicians
- Support the account department to invoice
What you bring :
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Professional Experience :
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in IT.
- 1–3 years of experience as an IT Coordinator, IT Team Leader, or Project Manager.
- Experience in the textile or retail environment is a strong plus.
Technical Skills :
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with project management and IT service tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with IT methodologies such as ITIL.
- Certifications such as MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), Cisco Networking, and/or PMP are a strong advantage.
Soft Skills :
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time‑management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities.
Languages :
- Fluent in Spanish and English (French is a strong plus).
