Freelance HTML/MJML Developer

An insurance client is looking for an experienced Freelance HTML / MJML Developer (Remote) to work with their team to develop HTML emails for marketing campaigns. You will also be responsible for working with Adobe Illustrator and Figma designs to code out responsive MJML email templates and ensure they render correctly in all major email clients, including Outlook, by testing them with Litmus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop responsive email templates using MJML for desktop and mobile email clients.
• Test email templates for rendering and compatibility issues using Litmus.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues related to email rendering and compatibility.
• Work closely with the designers and stakeholders to ensure email templates meet business and technical requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest email design and development trends, and recommend improvements to our email template best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least three years of experience in email design and development.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in MJML and Litmus.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills.
• Experience with email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
