The Role (What’s in the Box)

We are seeking a talented Editorial Assistant to join our dynamic Culinary Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating, editing, and proofreading our mouthwatering recipes from English to Danish. The ideal candidate will excel at adapting recipe content to reflect our brand's tone of voice and local style guidelines, crafting engaging recipe descriptions, and ensuring linguistic precision in style, clarity, grammar, and punctuation — all while adhering to tight production schedules.

At HelloFresh, recipe cards are a vital touchpoint with our customers. Your attention to detail and commitment to delivering clear, concise, and error-free recipes will be essential in creating an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do (The Recipe)

• Translate, proofread, and edit recipes from English to Danish, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in tone and style across all recipe cards.
  
  
• Unleash your creativity to craft captivating and irresistible recipe descriptions.
  
  
• Collaborate with the editorial team to identify and correct recipe errors arising from product updates or changes.
  
  
• Support the editorial team with various operational tasks, including coordinating ad hoc bulk translation projects.
  
  
• Ensure translated content conveys the original meaning and tone of voice.
  
  

What You’ll Bring (Your Ingredients)

• 1+ year of professional translation experience.
  
  
• Native-level fluency in Danish (written and spoken).
  
  
• Proficiency in English.
  
  
• Experience with Adobe InDesign.
  
  
• A flexible mindset and enthusiasm for thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to meet weekly tasks and deadlines efficiently.

What We Offer (The Toppings)
