We are looking for a Content Creator with a strong understanding of the Philippines market, local culture, and social nuances. You will be part of a hybrid 3-person content crew, working closely with the Social Media Manager and Community/Data Specialist to create engaging, locally relevant content for a leading streaming service brand.

This role is not about producing highly polished key visuals or complex illustrations. Instead, we’re looking for someone who thrives on creating fun, relatable, and bite-sized content, such as memes and trend-driven posts that connect with everyday local audiences.

Requirements

  • Ideate and conceptualise content angles aligned with brand objectives, platforms best practices and HBO’s brand tone of voice

  • Bring ideas to life  through visual storytelling — including art direction, simple graphics layouts and copywriting tailored for each platform

  • Produce and edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook using straightforward social edits (cuts, captions, transitions, sound syncing)

  • Keep up with local trends, pop culture moments, and social conversations, turning these into relatable content that connects with fans and sparks engagement

  • Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager on content planning, calendar management, and platform strategy

  • Collaborate closely with Community/Data Specialist to monitor performance, understand audience behaviour, and refine ideas based on insights

  • Work independently and with other team members both within and outside the HBO team

  • Maintain good organisational and workflow, ensuring timely deliverables across multiple content pieces

Skillset Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent editing tools

  • Strong sense of visual aesthetics, storytelling, and social media trends across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook

  • Ability to turn pop culture moments and show references into fun and shareable content

  • Good grasp of local humor, slang, and local nuances, with the ability to craft contextual copy beyond direct translations

  • Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Passion for entertainment, streaming content, and digital culture
