What's the opportunity?
We are currently seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Fraud Prevention Analyst II.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with proven experience in fraud prevention who wants to take their career to the next level. In this role, you won't just monitor alerts; you will play a key role in driving process automation, optimizing current workflows, and proactively identifying risks to scale our operations in a fast-paced environment.
This role operates on a Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule. Please make sure you have this availability before applying.
What will I be doing?
Drive Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual fraud detection tasks and work on designing and implementing smarter, more scalable workflows.
Advanced Fraud Analysis: Review complex fraud alerts and handle escalations, identifying deep patterns, trends, or behaviors to mitigate risk proactively.
Data-Driven Insights: Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports to track key fraud, chargeback, and conversion metrics, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Process Optimization: Document, audit, and continuously improve fraud operational procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency through technology.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and data teams to implement automated rules and fraud prevention tools.
Mentorship: Act as a point of contact for junior team members, sharing knowledge, best practices, and industry learnings.
What skills do I need?
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in fraud prevention, risk management, e-commerce, or the payments industry.
Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable fraud prevention strategies.
Strong data analytical skills and passion for discovering new fraud patterns.
Strong Excel skills: the ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to create reports.
(Preferred) SQL skills: ability to write queries on large transaction datasets to investigate fraud patterns, build ad‑hoc analyses, and validate rule performance.
Ownership mindset: takes responsibility for investigations and initiatives, from detection and analysis through to implementation, monitoring, and iterative improvements to fraud strategies (with guidance from senior team members when needed).
Efficiency & Autonomy: Strong organizational skills and the ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision, balancing urgent fraud risks with long-term automation goals.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with professional English proficiency (advanced).
IA & Automations: Hands-on experience with AI and automation workflows is highly valued.
