For one of our clients, we are looking for a Fraud Analyst, working remotely from Lithuania.
As a Fraud Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of an e-commerce marketplace by detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data for suspicious activity, implementing fraud prevention strategies, and collaborating with multiple teams to maintain a secure and trustworthy environment. You will leverage advanced tools to identify patterns, mitigate risks, and optimize fraud management processes to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies to align with business objectives.
- Analyze large datasets to identify fraudulent patterns and anomalies using advanced tools.
- Provide regular reports on fraud trends, mitigation strategies, and key performance indicators.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance fraud detection and reduce operational costs.
- Work closely with finance, customer support, product development, and marketing teams to address fraud-related challenges.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in collaboration with data analysts and engineers.
- Conduct ad-hoc research and analysis to support decision-making.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in fraud detection and prevention, preferably in the gaming or e-commerce industry.
- Familiarity with top-up products such as gift cards or e-money vouchers.
- Proficiency in SQL, with a willingness to develop skills further.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities to assess fraud risks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Deep understanding of fraud detection tools and prevention techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Proficiency in English is required, and fluency is preferred.
