About the Role: 

As a Franchise Standards Representative at Honor, you help protect the Home Instead brand and support franchise owners by ensuring consistent operational standards across the network. This role partners closely with franchise offices to confirm compliance with minimum standards and the franchise agreement, while also sharing practical best practices that help owners run strong, sustainable businesses.

In addition, the role maintains and supports the evolution of standards-related processes and documentation within the Franchise Standards department, and oversees required compliance documentation from the franchise network. The focus is on consistency, clarity, and continuous improvement—balancing accountability with education and collaboration.

  • Typical working hours for this role is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central.
  • This is a remote working position.
  • Some travel may be required.

 

About the Team:

The Franchise Standards team sits at the heart of Honor’s Global Headquarters, supporting and strengthening a network of independently owned and operated Home Instead® franchisees. Our team assists franchise owners in understanding and adherence to our franchise standards as they lead and inspire teams of Key Players and Care Pros who provide personalized care and support ultimately ensuring clients in their community receive safe, high-quality care in their homes for as long as possible.

Our team is responsible for setting, interpreting, and upholding the standards that protect the Home Instead brand and enable franchise owners to operate with confidence and consistency. From guiding franchise compliance and operational excellence to providing risk management support, our work helps our network directly impact nearly 100,000 Care Pros who deliver more than 100 million hours of care each year.

We work cross-functionally across Honor to balance growth, innovation, and compliance, making us key enablers of the business and trusted partners to the franchise network. The team works to ensure the Home Instead network operates with consistency, integrity, and care—while continuing to grow and innovate.

As a Franchise Standards Representative at Honor, you will:  

  • Hold franchise owners accountable by assisting in enforcement of minimum operational standard and franchise agreement provisions.
  • Perform operational and financial standards review through remote desktop review and quality assurance visits. Conduct timely follow-up with franchise owners following a review or other inspection.
  • Make recommendations to franchise owners regarding best practice to mitigate risk to their businesses. Emphasize quality, consistency, and uniformity of Home Instead services from one franchise office location to the next.
  • Assist in enforcement of minimum operational standard and franchise agreement provisions.
  • Conduct a timely follow-up with franchise owners following a QA visit, desktop review or other inspection, as set by department head.
  • Emphasize quality, consistency, and uniformity of Home Instead services from one franchise office location to the next.
  • Collaborate closely with applicable HQ departments as it relates to standards situations.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of standards and best practices.
  • Open to travel for company events or office visits and/or duties as assigned.
  • Consistently drive enhancements to the review process by applying creative problem-solving, improving efficiencies, and strengthening education to better support the network proactively.
  • Participate actively in the strategic planning process for the Franchise Standards department and the company as a whole.
  • Provide Franchise Standards related training for all stakeholders.

 

We’re looking for you to bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.(Business Management, Communications, Human Resource Management, Finance, etc.) or an Associates degree.
  • 2+ years of business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office products. Experience in Google Workspace recommended.
  • Ability to establish working relationships through trust and accountability. 
  • Experience influencing and coaching stakeholders with the ability to deliver difficult feedback 
  • Demonstrate integrity, sound-judgment and decision making skills.
  • Ability to manage projects end to end and evaluate processes to identify and recommend improvements
  • Maintain confidentiality of any standards matters.
  • Strong organization, proofreading and communication skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a remote or hybrid environment.

Our range reflects the hiring range for this position.  We use national average to determine pay as we are a remote first company.  Individual pay is based on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, experience, education, and training.
