Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a France Divestiture Project Manager to support a large-scale divestiture initiative. This role requires strong technical project management capabilities, deep infrastructure knowledge, and experience delivering complex workstreams under urgent timelines. The position is part of a large programme team and requires extensive collaboration with multiple stakeholders across a highly complex environment.

What you will do:

  • Manage a high volume of project deliverables within urgent and fixed timelines.
  • Oversee technical workstreams related to data centre and divestiture activities (experience in this area is essential).
  • Ensure accountability for end-to-end delivery while maintaining strong project governance.
  • Engage and coordinate with numerous stakeholders across technical and business teams.
  • Provide clear communication, documentation, and status reporting to programme leadership.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and risk/issue logs, ensuring proactive mitigation.
  • Lead and support technical teams, fostering collaboration and positive team dynamics.
  • Navigate large, complex organisational environments effectively.
  • Provide conflict management and drive effective problem resolution as challenges arise.
  • Ensure connectivity, infrastructure dependencies, and technical components are aligned to project milestones.

Essential:

  • Proven track record delivering complex technical projects on schedule.
  • Strong technical understanding of infrastructure technologies and connectivity.
  • Experience with data centre and divestiture initiatives (must have).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time-management abilities.
  • Effective risk and issue management skills.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work as part of a large programme team.
  • Experience working within large, complex organisations.
  • Prior HSBC experience.

Desirable:

  • Additional financial services sector experience.
  • Experience working with global and distributed teams.
