Charles River CFO, Inc. (CRCFO) is seeking an experienced Sr. Controller for our client in Minnesota. This part-time, fractional, REMOTE, position is 10-20 hours per week and requires banking experience and experience working in the Fiserv Premier core banking system would be a plus. This assignment is 12 - 18 months.


We are looking for a seasoned financial professional with 10+ years of experience as a Controller, who can provide strategic leadership and hands-on financial oversight to our client. This role is for a true Controller that can roll up their sleeves to get the job done and has somewhat recent experience performing this role. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • In this Controller role, assume the day-to-day financial leadership of the bank’s finance and accounting functions overseeing: payroll, transactions, expense and invoice management, cash flow, reconciliations, customer accounts, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls
  • Provide leadership and direction to the bank’s finance and accounting support staff
  • Prepare month end financials and deliver to senior management
  • Manage month end close, quarterly call report submission and related compliance and regulatory reporting
  • Perform other duties as required


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • Experience working in the Fiserv Premier core banking system,  “Thought Machine” core banking software and “NetSuite” is a plus
  • Start date is December 1, 2025
