Unilabs is the largest provider of medical laboratory diagnostics for prescribers and hospitals in Switzerland and employs around 800 people.
We are seeking an experienced data strategist with operational background to enhance our FP&A capabilities by structuring financial models, automating data processes, and improving reporting. This role will be instrumental in making our financial data more robust, efficient, and actionable, enabling better strategic decision-making.
Requirements
FP&A data strategy (60%)
- Financial Data Structuring: Design and optimize data models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability in FP&A processes
- Automation & Process Optimization: Develop and implement automation solutions for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Advanced Financial Modeling: Build dynamic financial models that improve forecasting accuracy and scenario analysis
- Data visualization: Enhance financial reporting by leveraging BI tools such as Power BI
- Collaboration: maintain alignment within finance, and with IT to align data strategies with company goals
Ops controlling (40%)
Under supervision of Senior Ops Controller:
- Track procurement savings plans
- Support Finance CapEx process, working closely with local functions to build business cases, track post-implementation performance, forecast, control and optimize CapEx BS addition & Cash-out
- Ensure coordination & reporting requirements with Group Operations Finance
- Participate in ad hoc financial analysis projects and provide insights to support decision-making
Benefits

- 8+ years of FP&A experience in a multinational environment, including both FP&A data structuration and efficiency, and operational controlling exposure
- Demonstrated experience in strategic financial leadership with a proven track record of supporting business growth and profitability
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience with automation tools (Python, VBA, Knime / Alteryx, etc.) to streamline financial processes.
- Strong organizational skills and collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-driven, autonomous, active in engaging remotely with business-owners and communicate timely and effectively at 360°
- Attention to detail, critical-thinking and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Fluent in English. Proficiency (B2) in French is a plus
