Cinder provides a cutting-edge platform to protect the internet. Cinder safeguards the interaction layer: the front end of products that users engage — and sometimes abuse. Our AI agents, integrated workflow platform, and deep expertise power real-time integrity at the speed of innovation.
We support some of the most important and innovative companies in the world, including OpenAI, Midjourney, and ElevenLabs. Cinder is backed by Accel and Y Combinator.
We care deeply about being relentless, intentional, and empathetic. We hire gritty thinkers who set ego aside, aggressively solve customer problems, and get better every day.
Cinder is seeking a founding Product Marketer to join our team. We’re building an enterprise-grade platform to make the internet safer and we need highly curious, hard-working self-starters.
This role is based in New York and will involve close collaboration with Cinder's teams in London and San Francisco. We also believe in the value of frequent in-person meet-ups and learning face to face. We offer health, vision & dental benefits and a 401(k) plan with employer matching. We are interested in exceptional candidates in London or San Francisco, but New York City is preferred.
Cinder is hiring our first full-time marketer. That’s going to require a creative, highly-motivated professional willing to take risks, embrace ambiguity, and take on highly strategic and highly tactical tasks. In this job, you will do it all. If that’s not exciting; don’t apply.
You will own all marketing functions — from positioning and product marketing to demand generation, content— and build the foundation for scalable growth as we expand our footprint across the AI ecosystem.
This is a role for someone who dives deep into complex technical problems, thinks strategically, and executes quickly. You will work directly with Cinder’s executives, customers, and partners to translate sophisticated AI-driven capabilities and solutions into clear, compelling narratives. Cinder is both unprecedented software and the tool people use to do their jobs everyday. You’ll need to think out-of-the-box and very practically.
Bottom line: there will be no better opportunity to define how integrity is integrated in modern enterprise to drive innovation.
Build and own Cinder’s end-to-end marketing strategy as our first marketing leader.
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across messaging, launches, and customer insights.
Establish core marketing processes, tools, and analytics infrastructure.
Collaborate directly with founders to define and evolve Cinder’s brand identity and voice across all surfaces.
Develop clear positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions for Cinder’s AI-driven and platform integrity tools.
Own go-to-market strategy for product launches, new features, and partnerships.
Create sales enablement materials (one-pagers, pitch decks, competitive intel, battle cards).
Produce case studies and customer stories that demonstrate the impact of real-time integrity operations.
Build repeatable, scalable demand-gen programs to drive pipeline for GTM.
Experiment across paid, email, content, webinars, and ABM to identify high-ROI channels.
Coordinate in-person marketing strategy, including Cinder’s appearance at conferences and bespoke dinners for customers and prospects.
Create and coordinate compelling content that positions Cinder as a leader in integrity and AI-driven risk operations.
Own editorial calendar across blog posts, whitepapers, events, and partner content.
With the founders, develop narratives around AI risk, abuse patterns, workflows, and operations — grounded in technical accuracy and customer insights.
Collaborate with leaders and customers to highlight trends and best practices in integrity.
Have 5+ years of relevant experience (e.g., marketing manager, PMM, growth marketer, communications).
Understand how AI models, agents, tooling, and operations work and stay current on the state of the field.
Bring excellent communication and relationship-building skills across customers, executives, and internal teams.
Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you define strategy and execute hands-on.
Are highly analytical, outcomes-oriented, and comfortable owning metrics directly tied to pipeline and revenue.
Bring strong project management skills — able to manage complex launches, content pipelines, and cross-functional workstreams with clarity and accountability.
Have demonstrated product marketing expertise, including positioning, messaging, persona development, competitive analysis, and GTM launch planning.
Can multitask across multiple marketing surfaces (content, brand, demand gen, website, sales enablement, comms) without losing quality or momentum.
Are skilled at prioritizing ruthlessly in environments with competing demands, limited resources, and evolving goals.
Have a track record of shipping high-quality work across multiple channels simultaneously, balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution.
Have experience in Trust & Safety, Risk, Integrity, or AI-driven operations.
Regularly use modern AI systems or risk ops tools.
Have worked in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup as an early or first marketing hire.
Have built or managed marketing automation, analytics, and GTM systems.
