Founder's Associate, Growth

TLDR

We’re looking for a technical generalist with strong commercial instincts and a bias toward growth.

You’ll work side by side with the founders to find signal in messy data, build scrappy acquisition systems, and turn non-obvious opportunities into repeatable growth loops - with founding-level ownership.

White Circle is building the safety, reliability, and optimization layer for AI systems.

At the core of our platform are policies - simple natural-language rules that define what an AI model should and shouldn’t do. We automatically test, enforce, and continuously improve these policies at scale, helping teams ship AI systems that behave reliably in production.

The role

We’re hiring a Founder’s Associate with a growth engineering focus to drive non-obvious go-to-market. In practice, this is a hands-on technical role working directly with the founders to design and scale programmatic acquisition systems.

Your job is to systematically identify where customers already are, extract signals, and turn them into scalable acquisition loops using code, automation, and data.

If a growth opportunity involves scraping, reverse-engineering, automating, or stitching together messy systems, this role owns it.

What you’ll do

  • Build automated competitor intelligence systems (docs, pricing pages, changelogs, GitHub issues, forums, job boards, communities) to identify leads and timing signals

  • Create programmatic lead generation pipelines from public data sources (GitHub, Hugging Face, papers, benchmarks, evals, public dashboards)

  • Reverse-engineer competitor onboarding, pricing, and activation flows to design faster paths to value

  • Build internal tools that convert raw scraped data into actionable workflows for founders, sales, and partnerships

  • Launch experimental acquisition channels (API-first entry points, open evals, public benchmarks, auto-generated reports, developer tools that double as lead magnets)

  • Run fast experiments: ship, measure, iterate

You’ll fit right in if you

  • Are comfortable working with large amounts of public, semi-structured, and messy data

  • Think like a founder, not a function

  • Prefer shipping systems over running campaigns

Skills we’re looking for

  • Strong Python or TypeScript (scraping, automation, data pipelines)

  • Experience with headless browsers, HTTP APIs, rate limits, proxies, and anti-bot patterns

  • Ability to extract signal from large, messy datasets

  • Solid SQL and data analysis instincts

  • Familiarity with LLMs for classification, clustering, summarization, or ranking

  • Enough frontend/backend ability to ship internal tools or lightweight products

Nice-to-have: prior founder experience, growth engineering, security research, or data engineering backgrounds.

  • A steady stream of high-intent inbound leads sourced programmatically

  • Early visibility into competitor moves and market signals

  • Repeatable acquisition loops that don’t depend on ads or content calendars
