And we need people like you to make it happen We empower you to reach your potential with opportunities to make an impact to be proud of for food people and the planet Job Summary We are now looking for an experienced Food Safety professional with expertise in aseptic processing and packaging who can take the role as Food Safety Regulatory Officer in our Food and Equipment Safety organization within Our Client’s Processing Solutions and Equipment in US and Canada You will have an important role working with regulatory and legal compliance per all US food laws and regulations as applicable to Our Client’s US and Canadas installed Our Client’s aseptic filling and packaging machine base You can be based anywhere in the United States but preferred to relocate to the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex You may be required to travel up to 25 percent of your time regionally or globally Our Client’s is not sponsoring work visas for this position You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future What You Will Do
  • As a Food Safety Regulatory Officer you will
  • Provide competent advice technical support and training to Client’s personnel and our Client’s customers
  • Work with and support customer account technical field service and project managers during Client’s Filling Machine Installation Projects ensuring the Our Client’s Filling Machine Equipment Qualification Program EQP is conducted accordingly
  • Support all Capital Equipment Client’s filling machine installation projects including regulatory compliance reviews and issuance of official approval letters
  • Support with EQP document orders processing handling and shipping for both domestic Our Client’s US and CA Market Company and Global for US Import purposes of Client’s filling machine customers
  • Perform calibration reviews for food safety concerns
  • Review and update internal Our Client’s documents as needed
  • Be active on Our Client’s Global 3 A Alignment Team ensuring continued conformance with 3 A Sanitary Standards and 3 A Third Party Verification TPV requirements for authorization to display the 3 A symbol on installed Our Client’s Filling Machines
  • Provide support for international Filling Machine customers who import aseptic food products to the US market
  • Support with Process Authority regulatory activities for existing Our Client’s Filling Machine designs and next generation Our Client’s Filling Machine validation and US FDA filing projects
  • Support the Client’s Process Authority with Process Deviation evaluations and issuance of Product Disposition Letters
  • Support with Process Authority regulatory compliance oversight for key Our Client’s strategic projects and serve as an expert Our Client’s reference resource for US food laws and regulations and in aseptic technology principles and best practices
  • Attend professional and industry conferences as a representative of Our Client’s
  • We Believe You Have
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field Agricultural Chemical Food Science and Technology Food Microbiology or similar Masters Degree is considered a plus
  • A minimum 10 years of food industry experience with working knowledge and practical experience in food manufacturing product formulation and development process safety and thermal process development
  • Actual experience working in food manufacturing and food facility environments is preferred
  • A thorough understanding and command of the written US Food Laws and Regulations specific to food manufacturing
  • Good leadership and communication skills with high informal authority and ability to effectively interact across intercompany organizations and with our Client’s customers
  • The ability to write professional letters advisories and technical documents is required
  • A working knowledge and implementation of thermal process calculations aseptic processes software programs and food packaging a plus
  • Must be comfortable in taking tough positions and communicating difficult decisions with customers
  • Excellent communication skills and are very proficient in English both written and verbal
