About the Role:

We are seeking Advanced Care Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) to join our expanding teams and collaborate closely with our Chief Medical Officers. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and bring an innovative, forward-thinking approach to their work. Candidates should possess strong internal medicine knowledge and have experience in urgent care, primary care, or family medicine, with a comfort level in treating the adult population.

  • We are looking for primary care, family medicine or urgent care experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to assist in urgent care visits for our primary care practice and multispecialty group..
  • In 12 hour shifts 7a-7p, this ACP will provide home visits and institute for urgent care and support imaging and follow up care visits including vaccine only visits, phlebotomy visits, contrast imaging, allergy shots or preoperative clearance at the request of a primary care team from our NY or Florida office.
  • We are looking for 3 days a week and may occasionally ask for weekend coverage or holiday coverage (e.g. 1 major / 1 minor holiday) with ample notice. 
  • Partner with Atria physicians from all specialties to provide exceptional care with direct and indirect supervision.
  • Adaptability to gain training and demonstrate competencies in a variety of Point of Care Testing modalities and devices.
  • Flexibility to perform clinical, administrative and clerical tasks outside routine scope of practice including inventory management for vaccines and medications.
  • Providing Home Care Services for minor procedures, such as insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration, wound care, vaccinations and phlebotomy techniques. Urgent care skills such as splinting and using staples or glue are appreciated.
  • Documentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records and using technology Spruce and slack for work communications with ample training.
  • Telehealth visits & Electronic prescribing of medications as needed
  • Attention to detail, clear communication and following Quality & Patient Safety, Protocols is essential.
  • Maintenance & upkeep of Professional Licenses, Certifications, DEA certification, State requirements and National Certifying Agencies credentials. Licensure in NY required and willingness to obtain CT and NJ important.
  • This job primarily will include adult care but cross training to support pediatric patients with goal of ability to perform seasonal vaccines, swabs and low acuity visits on patients 2+.

Compensation:

$170,000 - $190,000, depending on years of experience

Requirements

  • Current NYS License required as NP for specialty, or current NYS Licensed PA
  • 2+ year’s experience as a practicing NP or PA-C
  • BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Availability to be flexible with weekend coverage
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, and Family Medicine (Preferred)
