Responsibilities

  • 2+ years experience in flight operations or aviation mission management.
  • 2+ years experience leading teams and managing pilot workloads.
  • Experience coordinating logistics, including site permits and equipment transport.
  • Experience in planning flight schedules and mission-specific test cases.
  • Knowledge of local flight regulations and aviation safety protocols.
  • Proficiency with flight logging and technical reporting software.
  • Ability to translate engineering goals into actionable flight test plans
  • Ability to manage training programs for pilot proficiency and team development.
  • Clear communication when relaying technical feedback to engineering and production teams.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing mission logistics and team schedules.
Nice-to-have
  • Background in Aerospace, Robotics, or Defense technology.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
  • Proficiency in Jira/Confluence, Leapsome (or similar performance tools), and data visualization platforms.

Qualifications

Operations and logistics
The lead creates flight schedules and secures permits. They book mission locations and organize transport for both the team and equipment.

Technical coordination
The lead works with QA and Production to plan test cases. They set flight priorities to meet development goals. In technical meetings, the lead represents the flight crew to provide input on product design.

Data management
The lead reviews pilot reports and flight logs. They relay technical information and feedback to the engineering department.

Team management and training
The lead manages pilot workloads and ensures the team follows safety rules. They also run training programs to improve pilot skills and team communication.

English level
At least Pre-Intermediate level of English.
