The ‘Fiscal Integration Intern’ will serve as a critical support role for the Fiscal Compliance and Integration Specialist. The role is designed to create a strong foundation for long-term fiscal maintenance, scalability and control. A grasp of the existing setup, mechanics and concepts is crucial for developing the role into a more permanent and responsible role. The main responsibility of the ‘Fiscal Integration Intern’ is to assist the leading Fiscal role in maintaining clean and well-managed documentation for the benefit of Implementations, Support, Development and Product teams, that rely on this information. 

Detailed list of responsibilities: 

Documentation 

  • Document the fiscally and legally-compliant country-specific setup on UAT 
  • Document any country-specific configuration 
  • Produce supporting documents for: QAs, Support and Implementation Teams 
  • Maintain a list of currently active implementations and ideally configurations on 
  • Customer’s side 

Troubleshooting 

  • Understanding fiscal setups, both in Production and UAT 
  • Support Implementations by providing guides, tools and personally answering queries regarding fiscal requirements 
  • Assisting Support by interpreting integration and other fiscal logs 
  • Assisting QAs in testing new features for regression 

Shadowing and specialisation 

  • This role intrinsically considers career development by specialisation in two directions: a technical and general management 
  • The technical role specialises in understanding the infrastructure and content of the fiscal  interchange, maintaining, developing and improving these setups 
  • The second role focuses on the maintenance, support and coordination of activities
