Job Overview

The Firmware Engineer is responsible for firmware design and configuration hence to support project meeting targeted product quality, time to market and cost.

This position reports to the Shanghai R&D Department Lead and will be located in Shanghai.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review project requirement and be responsible for firmware design and configuration
  • Management in a team. Meet the project’s quality, time and cost target.
  • Work out the firmware solution for power products based on micro-controller or DSP platform, including software coding and debugging, and CPU peripheral circuit debugging.
  • Designing the power system controller includes software and hardware.
  • Write relative software development documents.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Software Engineering major, MS EE is preferred
  • At least 1 years’ working experience in the Telecom power supply software development field or relative field, experience in the team leader position is perfect.
  • Good knowledge and experience in rectifier hardware strategies and CPU peripheral.
  • Knowledge of DSP programming in assembly or C. Skill to use various micro-controller/DSP tools like KEIL/MPLAB/CCS/CodeWarrior; KEIL/MPLAB/CCS/CodeWarrior
  • Good teamwork and good communication skills, able to take pressure.
  • Writing & spoken in English fluently.
