Your New Role

As a Fire Alarm Technician and Installer, you will work both independently and on a crew to install, service, and maintain fire alarm and other low-voltage systems. You'll be expected to troubleshoot and support a variety of system types across different environments, from small residential setups to complex commercial systems. This position is based out of Winter Park, FL.

  • Install, test, service, and maintain fire alarm systems and related low-voltage equipment

  • Support systems including access control, CCTV, security, and gate operations

  • Troubleshoot and repair system issues on-site

  • Interpret wiring diagrams, site plans, and technical specifications

  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members

  • Operate company vehicle safely and maintain accurate job records

  • Follow all safety procedures and work in accordance with industry standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire alarm or low-voltage systems in residential and commercial.

  • Strong understanding of system wiring, troubleshooting, and layout reading

  • Must be physically able to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders regularly

  • Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards

  • Must meet any required state or industry licensing and compliance criteria
